Senior Regulatory Affairs Officer

Flow is working with a leading bank who are hiring a Senior Regulatory Affairs Officer to be based in the UAE.

Key aspects of the role include:

• Support in implementation and compliance to all regulatory requirements impacting the company’s operation.
• Act as point of contact with the impacted units within the company to ensure completion of the submitted gap assessment and provide any necessary inputs on queries.
• Guide Business and Support Units on regulatory compliance matters providing timely advice and solutions to address any compliance-related queries or issues.
• Support in the Ethical Conduct framework implementation and management.
• Prepare and submit reports to regulatory authorities as required, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all regulatory filing.
• Support the development of in-house training for regulatory compliance awareness among staff.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on the company.

To be successful you will need to meet the following:

• Degree in Finance, Business, or equivalent
• Minimum 6+ years of regulatory affairs within the banking or financial services industry
• Experience in Conduct Risk Management is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of the UAE regulatory environment, structures, market conduct, market practice, and industry groups.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining positive relationships with regulatory authorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
