Senior Paralegal

Flow has partnered with a leading law firm who are hiring a Senior Paralegal to be based in Qatar.

Key aspects of the role include:

• Conducting legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
• Drafting legal documents such as briefs, contracts, and pleadings.
• Managing case files, organising documents, and preparing exhibits.
• Communicating with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
• Preparing court statements, legal correspondence, and other documents for Associates and Partners.
• Meeting with clients, associates, and other professionals to discuss case details.
• Preparing briefs, wills, contracts, real estate closing statements, pleadings, appeals, and other legal documents.
• Directing and coordinating law office activity, including delivery of court orders.
• Gathering and analysing statutes, decisions, and legal articles, codes, documents, and other data.
• Calling on witnesses to testify at hearings.
• Keeping the law library up to date by monitoring legal volumes.

To be successful you will need to meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in law/ BA in commercial law. MBA is a plus.
• Minimum 8 years’ corporate law experience in a multinational law firm.
• In-depth knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management
• Investigative mind, good analytical, negotiation, and strong research skills.
• Experience in preparing legal reports.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Applicants should be available for face-to-face interviews in the location mentioned above.
