Flow Talent is working with a leading bank who are recruiting a Regulatory Affairs Manager to be based in the UAE.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Assist in the day-to-day management of the company’s Ethical policies framework.
  • Provide regulatory advice to various business units.
  • Support in maintaining the Regulatory Affairs Unit framework.
  • Assist various business units in obtaining any compliance exception approvals.
  • Conduct gap assessment reviews.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with regulatory authorities.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on the company.
  • Prepare reports for internal regulatory affairs reporting.

To be successful you will need to meet the following:

  • Advanced Degree in Finance, Business or similar.
  • Minimum 8 years regulatory affairs, compliance experience and providing regulatory advisory to various business units within the Banking Industry.
  • Minimum 3 years of Ethical conduct Management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the UAE regulatory environment, structures, market conduct, market practice, and industry groups.
  • In-depth knowledge of Islamic Banking products.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining positive relationships with regulatory authorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Arabic is a plus.
