Flow is working with a leading luxury retailer who are hiring a Buyer to be based in Qatar.

Key aspects of the role include:

• Set promotional strategies to achieve business goals.
• Monitor stock levels, sales performance, and sell-through rates to identify opportunities and risks.
• Regularly review and refresh the assortment to keep it relevant and appealing to customers.
• Monitor and analyse financial performance, including sales, margins, and inventory turnover.
• Develop and manage the buying budget to achieve sales and profitability targets.
• Work closely with marketing to ensure effective product presentation and sales strategies.
• Coordinate with the Logistic team to ensure all orders are in place and are delivered on time.
• Stay updated on the latest luxury retail industry trends, consumer preferences, and emerging brands.
• Analyse market demand and customer behavior to anticipate future product needs.
• Monitor competitors’ offerings and pricing strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

To be successful you will need to meet the following:

• University graduate preferably in a Business related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Buyer preferably within the retail industry. Fashion experience is an advantage.
• In-depth knowledge of Arabic luxury brands, trends, and market dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills and high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. French is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
