Business Compliance Advisory Manager

Flow has partnered with a leading bank who are hiring a Business Compliance Advisory Manager to be based in the UAE.

Key aspects of the role include:

• Provide expert advice and guidance to business units with relevant regulatory rules, regulations, and standards.
• Assist in the development and implementation of compliance-related policies, procedures, and controls to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular compliance assessments and reviews to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
• Develop and conduct compliance training programs to enhance awareness and understanding of regulatory requirements among staff members.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with regulatory authorities.
• Stay updated on changes in regulations and ensure that the bank’s policies and procedures follow local laws and regulations, and industry best practices.
• Perform other tasks/assignments assigned by the Head of Business Compliance.

To be successful you will need to meet the following:

• Bachelor’s Degree and compliance qualifications.
• Minimum 10 years of banking experience, of which 5 years in Regulatory Compliance.
• Proven record of providing accurate and practical compliance advisory support.
• In-depth knowledge of the UAE and International Banking rules and regulations.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
