Flow is working with a leading bank who are hiring an Applications Manager to be based in the UAE.

Key aspects of the role include:
- Lead the application specialists in the implementation and upgrading of software/system.
- Assess and manage business requirements.
- Conduct regular system audits.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any problems with banking application software.
- Provide technical IT support.
- Ensure data security, network access, and backup systems.
- Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain up-to-knowledge with the latest software developments.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
To be successful you will need to meet the following:
- Engineering degree preferably specialised in Information Technology or Information Systems. Banking and Project Management Certification is an added advantage.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience within banking/financial institutions with a good understanding of retail and corporate banking.
- Extensive experience in core banking / central bank payment applications.
- Project Management skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and presentation skill.
- Good troubleshooting skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English. Arabic is a plus.
